Our treatment room at Tower's is next to the Club's creche facilities, which are open for members from 9am until 1pm each weekday. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee a completely peaceful treatment during these hours. We recommend, therefore, that relaxing treatments such as massage and facials, are booked after 1pm Monday to Friday. Thank you.


To book an appointment, please make sure you read our terms and conditions below. If you have any questions, feel free to email or call 01234 721187 before you book, to avoid any confusion.

* When booking an appointment at The Retreat, Harrold or at The Retreat, Club Towers, you agree to abide by the salon Terms and Conditions of Business and Cancellation Policy.

* Clients must be aged 18 or over to attend any appointment unaccompanied by a parent or guardian. If you are under the age of 18, please call to discuss.

* All prices are correct and inclusive of VAT at the current rate at the time of publication. Prices may be changed without notice.

* We will endeavour to reply to emails and social media communications within 24 business hours of receipt. For urgent enquiries, please telephone 01234 721187 during business working hours.


* For all appointments of £10 or more, a 50% booking fee is applicable, to secure our time to carry out your treatment. All appointments of any value are subject to a 50% booking fee during December. This fee will go towards your final balance for your treatments. To make payment please call either 01234 721187 during business hours. Please leave a message to return your call if the answer machine responds.

* All bookings made directly using our online booking system will require a credit card authorisation for the amount of the treatment and are accepted as a confirmed appointment for you.

* For bookings made using means other than our online booking system, bookings are not confirmed until the booking fee has been received and, if in place for more than 24 business hours without payment of the booking fee, are subject to cancellation without notice.

* If you cancel/reschedule your appointment within 48 business hours of your appointment or if you do not arrive for your appointment, this booking fee will be retained by the business. In the case of an online credit card authorisation, the booking fee will be charged to your card. This is to help cover the costs of the business.

* Course appointments missed or cancelled/rescheduled with 48 business hours will be deducted from your course.

* If you know you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as early as possible. If notice is received of more than 48 business hours, the booking fee may be transferred to your rescheduled appointment or refunded.

* In some cases, eg where appointments have been missed or late changed/cancelled 3 times, we reserve the right to charge a 100% booking fee which will be treated in the same manner as the 50% booking fee.


* Although we would love to be able to complete your treatment as booked, there may be someone booked in after you which would make this impossible. This may result in a shortened or amended treatment which will still be charged at the full price of the treatment booked. If we are unable to carry out the treatment at all, the above Cancellation Policy will apply.


* If you have booked online, provided the change is outside the Cancellation Policy charging period, you may amend or cancel your appointments online.

* You may cancel by calling us on 01234 721187 or 07948 354 082 during business hours.


* Courses are an excellent way to maximise results for some treatments and may also be subject to a discount.

* Courses are paid for in one sum up front and you will receive a voucher to be used each time you have a course treatment.

* The voucher MUST be presented each time as payment.

* Discounts are always applied to the final treatments in a course. The sum is not pro-rated across the course.

* Should you decide not to complete a course of treatments, you may not be entitled to a refund. The remaining value of the voucher may, however, be used to purchase other treatments or products.


* Please check the expiry date on all gift vouchers as this date may not be extended.

* If you feel you will be unable to redeem a gift voucher before the expiry date you may either: 1) Book an appointment at a future date and pre-pay whilst the voucher is still in date, or 2) Use the voucher whilst still in date to purchase another voucher which will have a start date from the date of purchase.

* Although we will endeavour to identify lost vouchers where possible, The Retreat reserves the right to reject any booking if the voucher is not presented.

* Gift vouchers may not be redeemed for cash but are transferable. The cash value of the voucher may be used to pay for a different treatment to any treatment that may have been specified on the voucher.


You may request a patch test for any product we may use for your treatment at any time prior to your appointment. If you have undergone treatment for an illness such as cancer, we would highly recommend this due to the medication's effects on your skin during treatment.

We insist on a patch test for any tinting carried out at the Retreat no less than 48 hours prior to treatment if this is your first tinting treatment at The Retreat or if you have had no tinting done at The Retreat within a 1 year period.

From time to time we may change our tint product. Should this happen, you will need a fresh patch test prior to receiving treatment using the new product. We will advise you if this is the case at the time of booking.


We take no responsibility for any property lost or damaged, unless it is damaged by a member of staff due to negligence. Anything left in the salon will be held for 4 weeks and we will do our utmost to reunite left property with its rightful owner.


Your therapist will ensure you are familiar with any after care advice specific to your treatment as necessary as this will vary depending on the treatment received and personal needs.


This is your "Me Time" - a time to relax and stop for a little while, to recharge and renew. In the interests of all our clients receiving treatments, you are requested to switch mobiles to silent or off during your time at the practice. 'Phone signals are not particularly strong at either practice and we do not have a guest wi fi signal.


We are sorry, but in the interests of health, safety and your own "Me Time", young children are not permitted at either practice. There is no-one available to look after children while you have your treatment.
